Bio
Emily is a fourth-year undergraduate research assistant majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. She is interested in developmental and health psychology. More specifically, she hopes to 1) learn about how early adverse experiences affect development, behavior, and health and 2) explore interventions that are designed to reduce the negative outcomes of these experiences. After graduating, Emily plans to work for the State of California as a research scientist who specializes in the social and behavioral sciences. She hopes that this research will inform public health intervention programs that help people better understand their behaviors, empowering them to be kinder to themselves and to make healthier decisions. In her free time, Emily enjoys crocheting, baking, going on walks, watching anime, and spending time with her family.
