Bio
Emma received her Bachelor of Individualized Studies (BIS) with focuses on Art, Psychology, and Developmental Psychology and a minor in Integrative Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Before her graduate program, Emma worked with the Center for Neurobehavioral Development at the University of Minnesota's Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain. There she served as a research professional across multiple studies focused on exploring environmental impacts on development. Her research interests aim to explore the impact of stressful experiences on health across diverse populations and the effectiveness of creative and accessible coping mechanisms in promoting resilience. In her free time, Emma enjoys swimming, creating mixed media art, and scrapbooking!
