
Kelsey recently graduated from UC Davis in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. She is broadly interested in how stress affects the body and how external factors shape our responses to stress. She is also interested in exploring resilience and stress interventions from the mind-body perspective including practicing mindfulness, engaging with nature, reshaping attitudes, and adopting adaptive health behaviors. Kelsey is specifically interested in how external factors affect adolescents' biological and psychological responses to stress, as well as potential interventions that will aid in youth resilience. She hopes to pursue a future career in psychology research. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys exploring her own creativity through crocheting, doing pilates and yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
