Bio
Mary is a fourth-year undergraduate research assistant majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She is interested in understanding precursors for mental illnesses and studying the impact of stress and mental health on the brain and behavioral development. After graduating she plans to travel and gain more experience in the clinical and counseling fields. She eventually wants to pursue a master's in social work and hopes to obtain her LCSW to become a therapist and/or work in a rehabilitative center. Outside of the lab, Mary works as a Student Manager at the UC Davis Rec Pool. In her free time, she enjoys painting, working out, hanging out with friends, and eating everything bagels.
