Bio
Naomi is a fourth year undergraduate research assistant at UC Davis majoring in Psychology. She is interested in how acute and chronic stress can largely affect children and adolescence's mental health and how this can impact their development. She's also interested in how long term exposure to stress is a predictor of psychopathology. After her undergraduate studies, she is going to take a gap year to gain more experience in the field and is looking to work as a paraprofessional with special needs children. She would eventually like to pursue a master's degree in professional counseling and hopes to obtain her license to become a LPCC working primarily with children and adolescence. In her free time, Naomi enjoys expressing herself creatively through her love of cooking and baking and has her friends and family eat a lot of the things she makes. She also enjoys spending time with her family's orange tabby cat Sammy.
