Bio
Sydney completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development at UC Davis. She joined the SES Lab as an RA during the winter of 2020 before taking on the position as a lab manager in the fall of 2021. Broadly, she is interested in researching how chronic stressors impact the immune system and the development of depression in children of marginalized communities. In the Fall of 2023, she will be attending the University of Denver for her PhD in Child Clinical Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading, drawing, and being with her cats, Suki and Chihiro.
